چکیده :
The effective control of the storage system has great importance in maintaining the balance between generation and demand to regulate the bus voltage in the DC microgrid. For this purpose, by using the battery/supercapacitor (SC) hybrid energy storage system (HESS), more goals can be achieved, such as increasing the dynamic response of the system and increasing the battery lifespan. Achieving these goals is possible by designing and implementing a proper energy management strategy (EMS). This paper proposed a novel EMS based on a combination of rule-based EMS and a fuzzy logic controller. In order to optimal power allocation between the battery and SC, the filter cut-off frequency is tuned by the use of a fuzzy logic controller. so, the proposed EMS makes it possible for HESS to work in both isolated and grid-connected modes. In addition, to increase the dynamic response of the HESS in stabilizing the DC bus voltage, sliding mode control (SMC) is used. The performance of the proposed EMS is validated by simulation results that are carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
