چکیده :
Countries around the world are struggling to deal with rising energy demand as nonrenewable energy sources are depleted at an alarming rate. One of the goals of developed countries is the utilization of renewable energy and ecologically beneficial technologies to produce electricity. Energy security, social and economic development, energy access, tackling climate change, and the lessening of negative health and environmental repercussions are all areas where renewable energy sources present promising new avenues for exploration. Investors can benefit from Iran's abundant renewable energy capacity, which is mostly attributable to the country's location. Although specialists in the industry say solar energy can supply all of Iran's electricity demands, the absence of adequate distribution of credits in recent years has prevented the development of huge power facilities in the country. Because of this wasted potential, Iran spends tens of billions of dollars annually on fuel and foreign currency only to produce electricity and maintain its power facilities. Examining the effects of a wide range of factors on renewable and alternative energy sources, this study employs a four-scenario energy system model to determine the most cost-effective path forward for the nation's electrical supply system. Energy independence can be achieved by investments in the emerging energy sector. Assuming the current rate of growth in electricity consumption continues to 2030, the total capacity of a power plant needs reach roughly 250,000 megawatts to meet the requirement for electricity. Long-term cost savings, saved national capital, the increased gross domestic product, increased national income, new job opportunities, and environmental protection can all be achieved by encouraging private and non-governmental sector investment in the field of participation in the expansion of renewable industrial power plants in energy supply.
