چکیده :
Efficient energy storage is critical to achieving the transition to renewable energies. Because of its high gravimetric energy density, hydrogen provides a feasible technological option for chemical energy storage. The most effective method of storing hydrogen, however, is still up for debate. Metal hydride-based absorption-based hydrogen storage provides great volumetric energy densities and safety benefits. In this article benefits and drawbacks of certain materials are investigated and may be used as a foundation for choosing materials according to their intended use. Widespread use of metal hydrides will need further study on improving material characteristics as well as systemic issues
