MPC Controller Design for Variable Speed Wind Turbines in the presence of Actuator Faults

چکیده :
The Model Predictive Control (MPC) controllers for nonlinear variable speed wind turbines system is presented in this paper. By using Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI), a novel fault-tolerant control (FTC) strategy for faulty system in the presence of disturbances and is considered based on MPC and fault estimation scheme. For generalizing of fault effects all types of actuator faults include bias, loss of effectiveness, stuck, and failure is considered. The MPC fault Tolerant controller guarantees to compensate actuator faults effects, and to attenuate disturbance effects. The merits of the proposed fault tolerant control schemes and the better performance of MPC controllers utilizing nonlinear variable speed wind turbines subjected to actuator faults have been verified.
