چکیده :
Determining the ideal locations and capacities for distributed generation (DG) units and shunt capacitors (SCs) is Successful implementation can lead to numerous benefits, including reduced real power losses, improved voltage profiles, decreased current drawn from the network, and enhanced reliability. However, these benefits often involve substantial investment expenses. As a result, optimizing these advantages necessitates the careful identification of appropriate installation sites for the equipment. This study employed sensitivity analysis based on the stability index (SI) to pinpoint the most suitable locations for deploying DG units and SCs. Furthermore, the optimal sizing of the equipment was determined using a genetic algorithm (GA). The efficacy of the proposed approach was validated through its application to the standard 69-bus distribution system.
