Improving Hosting Capacity Using PV-STATCOM and Demand Response Program in Distribution System

چکیده :
There are many challenges to increasing the use of photovoltaic (PV) to decarbonize the energy system. Overvoltage is one of the most common problems in distribution systems with high PV penetration. In this study, an optimal reactive power control of smart inverters as PV-STATCOM for PV systems and a demand response (DR) program to improve the PV hosting capacity (HC) of distribution networks is proposed. The objective functions (OFs) in this work are improving HC, voltage regulation and reducing total losses, which they are calculated by multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MO-PSO) and probabilistic load model. Probable load is calculated using Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) method. The simulations, which include finding the best HC and optimal exchanging reactive power, DR program and solve OFs, are tested on 15 busses standard IEEE network
