چکیده :
The smart Electricity grid is an Electricity grid based on digital technology, which is used to manage the power supply and distribution network through two-way digital communication. This system creates an infrastructure for monitoring, analysis, control, and communication to help improve productivity, optimize energy consumption, and maximize transparency and reliability. Increasing reliability and reducing operating costs, reducing losses, reducing fossil fuel consumption, and such things are among the advantages of a smart grid. These advantages have made policymakers in most parts of the world take steps to implement the smart electricity grid, update the existing grid and add smarting features. Considering that each country's power grid has its characteristics and its level of development is an essential factor in deciding how to make the grid smarter; Therefore, planning for the performance of smart grid implementation plans should also be done following the potential and actual capabilities of the network, the present and future needs of the network, and the development process of related industries. This article intends to present the implementation roadmap methodology of smart Iran's Electricity distribution networks by examining the road map of smarting in different countries and analyzing them, as well as examining the present situation of Iran from the point of view of smarting. This article comprises two major sections: smart grid technology roadmap in iran and the national smart metering plan (know as FAHAM). The FAHAM plan is to develop the iran smart grid roadmap project, one of the subprojects of the Iran smart grid national grand project.
