چکیده :
In the transition to net-zero, hydrogen is one of the few new sources of low-carbon energy. Hydrogen could replace high-carbon fuels in deep decarbonization and deep renewable energy systems, helping to reduce emissions in the industrial sectors, as well as providing power, heat, and transportation with flexible energy and these are among the most significant matters in smart grids. The energy hub concept gives energy system operators suitable opportunities to create this integration. Hydrogen will help to meet the challenges we are facing in the context of the energy transition. In this paper, stochastic scheduling is presented to enable the optimal management of a hydrogen-ready energy hub. Inside the energy hub, power-to-hydrogen plants and hydrogen storage tanks are used to supply hydrogen demand and provide hydrogen through a hydrogen network. In the proposed model, the scenario-based method is applied to model wind speed uncertainty. Moreover, a demand response program is implemented to match the energy demand with the supply better. Finally, a weighted sum method is used to solve the multi-objective problem. The aim of this paper is to analyze the impact of considering hydrogen as the main energy carrier on the multi-energy system operation under different cases. The simulation of the proposed model is performed on a case study and the obtained results show the effectiveness and benefits of the proposed scheme.
