چکیده :
Considering the inevitable nature of asymmetric conditions in the use of the power system, such as the geometrical arrangement of the phase conductors in single-circuit (horizontal type) and double-circuit (vertical types) in the transmission towers, and considering the necessity of preventing the occurrence of accidents that damage the equipment itself and the grid, studies for transmission lines compensated by the shunt reactor in the conditions of electrical and geometric asymmetric operation and using practical solutions to prevent the occurrence of temporary overvoltage on the equipment connected to the transmission line has been carried out which is necessary for the planning and development of transmission and operation as well. This necessity is raised for compensated lines after the implementing the construction of transmission stations and power plants (PP) and inlet-outlet lines while the condition of the line compensator has not been reviewed in the new conditions. In this article, before solving the problems of evaluating the desirability of compensated lines from the point of view of electrical resonance stability study (ENRS) / (diagnosis of resonance, pseudo-resonance, and Ferro-resonance conditions) and presenting possible solutions to provide desirability criteria, the necessity of using a shunt compensator in transmission lines is proposed to prevent various serious damages and financial losses and the multiple simulation results verified the vital role of the shunt compensator.
