Optimal Design of Hybrid Renewable Energy System (WT/Bio/FC) based on Mountaineering Team-Based Optimization

چکیده :
This paper presents the technical and economic design of a hybrid wind-biomass energy system incorporating a fuel cell storage system, utilizing the Mountaineering Team-Based Optimization (MTBO). The optimization focuses on determining the optimal capacities and quantities of each resource in the hybrid WT/Bio/FC system. The fuel cell system comprises an electrolyzer, a hydrogen storage tank, and a fuel cell stack.The objective function is formulated to minimize the net present value of investment, maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement costs throughout the 20-year lifespan of the system. Optimization variables include the number of wind turbines, biomass units, electrolyzers, hydrogen storage tanks, fuel cell stacks, and inverters. These variables are optimized using the MTBO algorithm, considering the cost objective and the reliability constraint of the Loss of Power Supply Probability (LPSP). The proposed MTBO method is compared to other methods, and the results from the optimization design reveal that hybrid combinations utilizing all available resources demonstrate lower present value costs and improved reliability indicators compared to alternative compositions.
