Hydrogen Pinch Analysis with Recycled Hydrogen Approach by Energy Management of Refinery Processes in Optimal State

چکیده :
The oil industry has specific goals that have led experts to optimize the use of hydrogen in refineries and petrochemical plants. This research examines the necessity of hydrogen management and refinery hydrogen distribution networks in refineries. According to this method, hydrogen is distributed within the refinery's distribution network in two modes based on the pressure. As a first step, optimization is carried out using only the equipment currently available at the refinery. Consequently, the output of the hydrogen production unit and the operating costs will not decrease. In the second case, assuming that a pressure oscillation absorption hydrogen recovery unit (PSA) is economically feasible, optimization has been performed and the results have been reviewed and analyzed. This problem has been simulated using GAMS software in the form of nonlinear programming in the network, which has resulted in a 54.13% reduction in operating costs for the hydrogen production and recycling unit. The results show that the objectives of this research have been well achieved.
