A three-winding coupled inductor-based three-port ultra-high step-up DC-DC converter for renewable energy applications

چکیده :
This research presents a novel configuration for a two-output ultra-high voltage DC-DC converter. The benefits of this converter include minimized voltage stress on power switch and diodes, common ground availability, and heightened efficiency. The integration of a coupled inductor (CI) eliminates the necessity for a high-power switch duty cycle, resulting in reduced conduction losses and increased efficiency. Moreover, the decreased voltage stresses allow for the use of lower-rated semiconductors, leading to cost and volume savings. The propounded converter can be employed in power conversion applications to facilitate immediate utilization of renewable energy. Finally, a practical realization of a 400W converter with a 50 kHz operational frequency, 20V input voltage, and load voltages of 260V and 150V has been implemented in the laboratory to validate the theoretical propositions.
