A high gain non-isolated DC-DC converter based on coupled-inductor with low voltage stress on switches for renewable energy applications

چکیده :
This paper presents an innovative DC-DC converter designed for substantial voltage increase, incorporating a two-winding coupled inductor (CI). The use of this configuration aims to attain elevated voltage gain while employing a minimal duty cycle, thereby reducing conduction losses in the power switch and enhancing overall efficiency. Moreover, the proffered converter offers merits such as minimized voltage stress on semiconductor components and the presence of a common ground. The suggested converter is suitable for power conversion applications, enabling the prompt integration of renewable energy resources. This paper provides a comprehensive description of the suggested converter and its operational modes. Furthermore, to illustrate the proposed topology in contrast to other high step- up DC-DC converters, a through comparative analysis is undertaken. Ultimately, to validate the precise operation of the proffered topology and confirm the benefits and analysis, an prototype for testing is constructed, delivering 150W output power, with corresponding results presented.
