Hardware-in-the-Loop Approach For Energy Consumption Optimization in Dual-Motor Gear Systems

چکیده :
This study introduces an optimization approach for the Dual-Motor Coupling-Drive System (DCS), which enables simultaneous tuning of torque and speed for each motor, offering an advantage over traditional power-split techniques. Using a Steer-by-Wire (SBW) system as a case study, heuristic optimization algorithms are implemented within a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environment to assess system performance. Our findings demonstrate that the proposed energy-saving-rate achieve performance levels twice as high as those of conventional methods, reaching approximately 20% improvement.
