چکیده :
Transformerless inverters (TLIs) have become increasingly popular in single-phase distributed photovoltaic power generation systems due to the advantages of their high efficiency, smaller volume, and lower cost than the one with the transformer. However, in the absence of a transformer, high-frequency time-varying common-mode voltage (CMV) results in the flow of hazardous ground leakage current. In order to reduce the leakage current, Several TLI topologies have been published in the literature among them H5, H6, and Heric topologies are three topology very popular mainstays. The third has the highest efficiency but the worst CM behavior due to switches’ junction capacitances. As a result, CM leakage current may exceed the recommended limit. In this paper, an optimized HERIC topology with a quasi-diode clamp circuit, namely OHERIC-BQDC topology, is proposed, in which a bi-directional clamping based on MOSFETs, but like a diode clamping without dead time, is added on the basic HERIC topology to eliminate the common-mode voltage fluctuation in freewheeling periods. A Matlab/Simulink model is developed to verify the feasibility of the proposed approach. In addition, PSIM’s software package is used to validate the effectiveness of proposed HERIC-based inverter topology.
