Design and Analysis of Double Stator Induction Generator with DC auxiliary field for Wind Energy Generation

چکیده :
The push for sustainable energy solutions highlights the urgent need to enhance wind power generation methods. This study explores the cutting-edge Double Stator Induction Generators (DSIG) equipped with Direct Current (DC) field windings, signaling a potential game-changer in wind energy efficiency. Distinct from conventional induction generators, DSIG's two-stator design inherently allows for magnetic flux adjustment using controlled DC currents. This innovation provides a straightforward means to modulate the generator's output voltage, improving adaptability to the grid and overall power quality. Leveraging Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the research models the DSIG's electromagnetic responses across different DC current settings, showcasing a strong link between flux management and voltage outcomes. Initial findings indicate benefits like superior voltage stability, and heightened efficiency. Amidst the challenges posed by variable renewable energy sources, DSIG's flux modulation emerges as a potential cornerstone for a more consistent and efficient future in wind energy generation.
